Frida J Johansson and Anna Norberg started the project Mission: Back to school June 2015. We wanted to collect school supplies to schools in Saint-Louis, to facilitate the teaching.

 

During six months, we collected school supplies and money with the help of private individuals all over Sweden. We are incredibly excited about how committed you have been.

 

The school material was taken to Senegal in December, and was awarded at the Projects Abroad talibécenter. A talibé is usually a boy, who had been sent away or leave her home to study the Koran. One reason that children become talibéer is that the family can not afford to have those left at home.

A big thank you to all who in any way involved with helping talibécentret in Senegal. Mission: Back to school was mentioned in Sveriges Radio Värmland.
